Inspiration: March 22 >> Life In Limbo

For my podcast club (what it sounds like! We listen to a podcast & then talk about it) this month we listened to #tellblackstories and it was excellent! A lot of really great facts, feelings, and perspective shifts.

LOVE this perspective from Paul Jarvis about treating your deep work time like you’re operating a moving vehicle. No distractions!

My wonderful friends The Space Between recorded their first YouTube video this week and it is lovely!

This week I finished The Checklist Manifesto and I really enjoyed it. I found his examples fascinating, especially when he compared the progress in aviation vs. medicine and discussed why some industries are so much more reluctant to adopt this super simple strategy.

I have been loving the thoughtfulness & humour of the Netflix show Sex Education. So clever and well-made!

This weekend it’s Nurture Spring 2019, and I am oh-so-ready to be incredibly inspired by the amazing women both facilitating and attending. If you’re local, make sure to join the waitlist for the next one in November! It’s magic.

Like I shared on Instagram, this week I was also super inspired by changes of scenery. When it’s cold I have a tendency to stick to the same-old nearby places, but getting out to see a gorgeous library or a sunny café can help a lot.

This week flew by, since a lot of my mental energy was focused on preparing and resting before the wonderful whirlwind that this weekend is sure to be! By the time you read this I’ll already be a Nurture, preparing to welcome a group of wonderful women to the space. I’m so excited. I always come back from these weekends feeling tired but full-to-bursting with inspiration and joy and connection. PS. HAPPY SPRING!! WE MADE IT! I hope you have a wonderful weekend too! xo.
