Inspiration: March 15 >> Life In Limbo

Money is so interesting! I found these stories of financial windfalls fascinating.

This is a cute website that gives you a really brief, really clear overview of what signature dishes you should try in any country you might be visiting.

I just like the way Amy Lynn Andrews’ brain works – she is so no-nonsense and committed to doing what works best for her and her family, like all my favourite people. Here’s a short video of her explaining her family’s one-night trips.

I laughed out loud at this ode to getting paid as a freelancer.

I don’t completely understand how this app works, but omg! So cool. You can send it articles and the robots will record a custom podcast for you to listen to later!!!! What?

Good scripts to use in tricky conversational spots.

Adorable illustrations of happiness concepts from different cultures! I love!

In fun news, I was quoted in a story about “super-readers” in The Globe and Mail last weekend! Truly such a blessing to be recognized for my nerdiest hobby. (It’s behind a paywall, but I’m still linking it in case someone has a subscription, lol!)

A little plug here for the underrated (or much-hated, depending who you are) pastime of re-reading your favourite books. I don’t care what anyone says, it brings me so. much. joy. Currently re-reading I’ll Give You the Sun for the 3rd time. Don’t ask me why I like this book so much, but I just do and that’s enough.

In extremely fun news, my Inbox Zero 101 course is out in the world!! I’m offering it at 50% off for the first 10 people to register, and there are 5 people already! Learn more here & pass it on to anyone you know who has problems with email. ;)

We made it to Daylight Savings Time and nothing could make me happier!!! Ice is melting here in Toronto and I finally feel hopeful that warmer days are on the horizon. Having an extra hour of sunlight in the evenings makes me feel alive again, even if the last couple days have been grey & cloudy. This weekend I’m planning to go for long walks, have dinner with friends, and spend time reading. I hope you have a wonderful weekend too! xo.
