Today I have a favour to ask you.
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how to be helpful. This week I shared this quote from Maya Angelou on Instagram:
“When you get, give. When you learn, teach.”
I love it, because it implies that you should simply always try to share what you have: knowledge, money, ideas, love. So I’ve been trying to do more of that lately by sharing tutorials and how-tos more often on the blog, in the hopes that it can solve someone’s problem or make something seem a little easier.
I’ve been wanting to create a more in-depth e-course for a while now, but was stumped as to where to start. I didn’t know what topic would be most interesting while still being useful, or if anyone would even be interested. Then last week I read an installment of this business story (a very inspiring series I’ve been really enjoying) where the writer talked about using a survey to poll her readers about a particular product she was making. Bingo! A lightbulb went off for me. Why not just ask?
So here I am, asking. I would love to hear your opinions, get your feedback and learn about what you’re most interested in when it comes to a possible e-course from me. The idea of creating a program to share what I know is so exciting to me, but I want to make sure it’s as helpful and relevant as possible. Thank you as always for reading, and for caring. I really appreciate it.
You can find the survey right here.
Thank you!
