Some excellent tips here about how to use your phone less, but better. Some of these I was doing, but some were new and my phone is more efficient already!
A few hopeful facts about Notre Dame cathedral that made me feel a bit better. There are always bright spots in dark times!
When I was in the States over the weekend, I watched Shrill, a fictional series written by Lindy West, based on her book. It was so good! I think if you’re a Crave subscriber in Canada, you can watch it here as of this month.
This was a massive butt-kicker of an article and I’m happy to report I haven’t hit snooze on my morning alarm once this week (usually a very bad habit of mine). I never snooze emails as he’s writing about, but the principle is the same for alarms too.
Why and how to say more of the word NO, which James Clear calls “the ultimate productivity hack” and I tend to agree.
I have explored this website not at all, but it looks AMAZING. Look at all the good free stuff on the internet! Movies, courses, books, audiobooks, etc.
Visiting the “Harry Potter library” at Cornell last weekend reminded me that I probably have a lot of good literary sight-seeing in my own city too! I liked this article with book-related tourism I can do at home.
This week completely flew by yet again! Last weekend in Ithaca was really special, you can read more about my trip on Instagram here and here. And then this week I was mostly absorbed in talking about and working on my masterclass at Make Lemonade, a coworking space here in Toronto. On May 23 I’ll be teaching a class called Do More In Less Time, and I’m so excited (and nervous) about it! The weather has been almost entirely cold and rainy this week, but at least the flowers are popping up and the blossoming trees are about to explode, so I’m thrilled. This weekend it’s my grandparents’ 60th anniversary party so I’m looking forward to spending time with family. I hope you have a wonderful weekend too! xo.
