Inspiration: May 18 >> Life In Limbo

I thought this was a poignant reflection about aging, made even more relevant when I think about my own grandparents.

So happy that Dear White People Season 2 is out on Netflix! I haven’t been able to watch it all yet, but I will always celebrate the return of a smart, funny, and thought-provoking show.

Like most people, I was blown away by Childish Gambino’s new music video. I also liked reading about the context of the video and its messaging.

This week I learned how to send automatic text responses from iPhone when you want to get some focused work done. Revolutionary! This could also work well for those who want to set “work hours” with clients.

“It doesn’t need to be good right now, it just needs to exist.” Good advice for life, writing, starting a podcast, etc. Goes along with one of my favourite mantras, “You can’t steer a parked car.”

Love the idea of having a two column to-do list, one easy and one hard.

I signed up for Sarah Von Bargen’s Bank Boost program this week because holy affordable! I’m excited to catch up on the live call I missed and start saving/making more money with her great methods.

In case you missed it, I released two more episodes of my new podcast! There’s an interview on evolving your sense of identity, and one on opting out.

You probably noticed that there was no inspiration post last week, and that’s because all my websites got hacked and I only got them fixed on Saturday night after a week of stressful days. I was so relieved to get everything back up and running and it feels so great to be writing these posts again. I am looking forward to the weekend – I’m seeing friends and then celebrating my Grandma’s 90th birthday with my whole family! I hope you have a wonderful weekend too. xo.
