Every week on Friday, I share a list of the most interesting and inspiring content I’ve read lately here on my blog. You can expect thoughts on productivity, happiness, balance, spirituality, politics, and more. Subscribe here to get updates. See archives here.
I liked this tip for how to take a clean screenshot of any YouTube video! There are so many moments in my past where this would have come in handy.
GREAT thoughts here from Seth about how we can de-escalate anxiety by choosing our words and tone more carefully. What story are you telling? What results is that having?
Wandering Aimfully is one of my favourite businesses to watch, because I think they’re up to cool things. I really liked their recent podcast episode about improving your time management skills.
I really liked this list of signs of emotional maturity. It felt reassuring and true and solidly helpful. I want to keep these concepts as a North Star.
I’m currently reading Company of One by Paul Jarvis, and I was really inspired by his interview on the Hurry Slowly podcast about the book.
I am obsessed with the concept of this app which lets you create tutorials with photo instructions. I haven’t used it yet but it has been downloaded, and I can see how useful it’ll be in so many areas of my life from household tasks to business tutorials.
In case you missed it, on my podcast this week I’m talking about the concept of positive illusions and how I’m working to re-assess some of my own.
Friday already?! The weeks are passing quickly again, which I take as a good sign – I have more energy back and am feeling more balanced. I’m taking the time to cook for myself again which feels like a win, and I took time off last weekend to be with my family for Family Day here in Ontario. Still keeping busy though! I’m hard at work at my new Inbox Zero 101 online course, and I released my Dropping In Questionnaire this week and it’s gotten a great response so far! This weekend I’m giving myself permission to rest and putter, and hopefully soak up some sunshine if we’re lucky enough to get any. I hope you have a wonderful weekend too! xo.
