Inspiration: April 24 >> Life In Limbo

This week I started listening to Priya Parker’s new podcast, Together Apart, on my friend Dimple’s recommendation. It’s all about creating meaningful gatherings and celebrations, even when we have to be apart. So good!

I recently treated myself to a little Pocket Farmacy using some of my birthday money, and there’s something so fun about the little kit that the blends come in and the idea of using different roll-ons for different things. It’s added a bit of whimsy to my day!

A couple days ago I started doing Yoga With Adriene’s 30 Day HOME Challenge on my sister’s recommendation. I’ve loved Adriene’s videos for years, but it’s been a while since I did one of her challenges. It’s kicking my butt, in a good way!

My friend Deanne is taking on the wellness/pseudoscience/spirituality industries in this post about why healing is bullshit. She does such a great job of communicating a lot of my own discomfort with the “health” promises we’re sold – and is kind enough to credit me for sharing Brooke Castillo’s 50/50 philosophy.

Wandering Aimfully have done it again with this mammoth 5-step checklist to improve every aspect of your online business. What an amazing resource.

I love Alexandra Gater’s YouTube channel and was so inspired by this mini closet makeover that she did all while in quarantine.

In case you missed it, this week on my business blog I wrote about lots of ways to optimize your business for the digital world. PS. If you want to get my business newsletter, you can sign up right here!

Another week in self-isolation has flown by! It is still not easy by any means, but it’s getting easier to cope with this new reality every day. I am keeping busy with client responsibilities and (virtual) plans with friends, and I am grateful every day for my cozy home that I enjoy spending time with, and for my close proximity to the park and the lake. This weekend I’m hoping to do a lot of reading, spend time outside, and get some groceries for the first time in 2 weeks, I’m running a bit low on things! I hope you have a wonderful weekend too. xo.
