Inspiration November 9 >> Life In Limbo

I listened to this episode of Hurry Slowly twice in a row to really understand what she was saying and I found it very refreshing.

Offline inspiration this week included reading I’m Afraid of Men by Vivek Shraya. So good, so important, so educational.

I also went to see Hello Sunshine x Together Live this week which featured Glennon Doyle, Abby Wambach, Ibtihaj Muhammad and other interesting women. If it’s coming to your city, check it out! Very cool women telling stories.

I am also inspired by the Democrats winning back the House of Representatives and by the fact that there are more women in the House than at any other time in history. More good news here (and yet we have a long way to go).

One of the teams I work on started using Basecamp this week and it’s such a game-changer! Highly recommend to anyone working on a big team that needs better communication and project-management. Asana is another fave.

Last week I ran my first workshop all about email management and email boundaries and it was so much fun! I was really inspired by every person who attended, because they’re all up to such interesting things. Big thanks to Nurture for letting me use their new workshop space!

In lovely and helpful tech tutorials, this week I learned how to use my phone as a remote for a Google Slides presentation. Life-saver on workshop day!!!

This week on the podcast I’m talking about how fun it is to add things up over time and let that momentum be a form of motivation. This is also the last episode of season two!

I didn’t have a lot of time to read articles online this week – I was busy doing a lot of work before my friend Katie gets here for the weekend! I can’t wait to see her and pick up our endless conversation where it left off back in August. She’s such a joy in my life and it’s so fun to spend time with her. If you need me, I’ll be eating, drinking and talking. I hope you have a wonderful weekend too! xo.
