Every week on Friday, I share a list of the most interesting and inspiring content I’ve read lately here on my blog. You can expect thoughts on productivity, happiness, balance, spirituality, politics, and more. Subscribe here to get updates. See archives here.
Really into the idea of the #BlackPublishingPower campaign! The idea is simple: buy two books written by Black authors this week. You still have time! I bought mine from A Different Booklist, which is a local Black-owned bookstore.
The two books I bought, which I’m so excited about, are Queenie and All About Love.
I’ve had two recent experiences with Streamyard recently: once as a participant, and once as a host, and I am really impressed with it! If you’re looking to host a webinar, I would highly recommend.
7 courses by Black women to help you practice anti-racism.
This episode of The Daily was so moving and heartening. I am so thankful for every bit of hope we can get these days.
This week I also joined The Academy by Vaness Henry to learn more about Human Design!
I am now in week 2 of doing tabata-style workouts led by Raneir Pollard and…it’s actually going pretty well! I’m not the type to love a high-intensity workout but Raneir is funny & enthusiastic so it makes it more fun.
Just a quick reminder that Captain Awkward exists, if you, like me, often forget to check for new posts but need some help reinforcing your boundaries. She is so so good.
And we’re back! My blog was down last week, so I wasn’t able to come in and share any links. But it’s back up, yay, so I’m back! This week has gone by in a flash thanks to group sessions of The Foundery, a talk I gave for Travel Massive, and my Productivity Party…alongside lots of reading and learning. This weekend I’m hoping to take a long Instagram detox, and (fingers crossed!) have a socially distanced visit with my Dad for Father’s Day, for the first time in months. I hope you have a wonderful weekend too! xo.
