Every week on Friday, I share a list of the most interesting and inspiring content I’ve read lately here on my blog. You can expect thoughts on productivity, happiness, balance, spirituality, politics, and more. Subscribe here to get updates. See archives here.
This helpful list of feminist marketing tools is a good place to start if you’re trying to move towards “leveraging your line items”, as Kelly puts it.
This week I signed up for Hoame’s Mental Health Crisis Response Training which will be taking place online at the end of August. As we start to focus on finding community-led approaches instead of policing, I like the idea of having some skills to support folks in an anti-oppressive way.
I love this Wellness Kit Initiative to donate self-care and wellness items to Black femmes & folx. You can donate money, or click here to learn more about the kinds of items they’re looking for.
I feel like I’ve probably mentioned this channel before, but this week I fell down a Wabi Sab-E hole on YouTube. They’re restoring a gorgeous farmhouse in Nova Scotia and their videos are AMAZING. This DIY shed/greenhouse one was so fun.
Last week I got a Nutribullet and my daily life is much improved. So many glorious smoothies! Not an affiliate link, just a happy person.
I have been really loving the new season of Revisionist History. Malcolm is forever inspiring, interesting, and thoughtful.
The Business 101 bundle from Make Lemonade (that I’m a part of!) is open again this week (until this afternoon). It was so fun to be reconnected to the content and the other teachers this week.
It has been HOT! My oh my. And it seems like this weekend is not going to be any cooler. I don’t have any big plans beyond trying to stay cool in this extreme heat, which may involve heading down to the beach or a pool for a dip! I am also finally able to read again after a few months of not being able to concentrate, so I will be doing lots of that too. Hope you have a wonderful weekend! xo.
