Yay! The What sent out their non-fiction reading list this week, and I marked every single new one as to-read on my Goodreads.

The case for extreme moderation: “I want to do a reasonable job at the different parts of my life and a stellar job at the balance between all of them.” This article makes me feel calmer.

Also helping make me feel calm: this report about the changes coming to help us create a quieter iPhone. As a person who has my phone on Do Not Disturb 100% of the time, all of this sounds very appealing to me.

I absolutely love following along as Caroline & Jason build their new business, and it was really cool to see this example of how they’re using Airtable to track their content.

Captain Awkward linked to the Geek Social Fallacies again recently, so I gave it a re-read. So fun to revisit this uber-helpful post! So clarifying and so much truth.

I started watching Taste of the Country this week on Netflix and omg! South Pond Farms is so beautiful and cool.

This week on the podcast it was just me! I was talking about some recent experiences with breaking limiting beliefs and fully embracing a growth mindset.

As I write this I’m feeling really tired, but really happy. My younger sister had her university graduation, and it was so special to celebrate her alongside my family. Add to that a few unexpected meetings, my monthly entrepreneurs meetup, and wrapping up client work with dreamy clients, and you’ve got yourself a tired Stephanie ready for the weekend. I hope you have a wonderful weekend too! xo.

007: On Limiting Beliefs

The Life In Limbo podcast is about building a life you love on the foundation of what’s most important to you. Each week I chat with an interesting person to explore about how we can stay connected to our personal values, measure what matters most to us, listen to our own voices, and create a life we enjoy. 007: On Limiting Beliefs >> Life In Limbo

This week on the show I’m jumping in for a solo show, because I really wanted to talk about a couple recent experiences I’ve had breaking down my own limiting beliefs through actions and experiences. It’s been so interesting for me to reflect on the places in myself and my life where I’m holding on to thoughts that aren’t serving me at all. In the episode I’m also sharing the ways I’m starting to loosen my hold on those ideas.

Inspiration June 8 >> Life In Limbo

I love looking at lists of the apps that different people like to use. When I signed up for the Offscreen Dispatch, it sent me this one, and there are so many great gems inside! The newsletter so far is great too.

Lots of tears reading this beautiful, heartbreaking post about love and grief and acceptance.

I didn’t know there was a new Gmail until this week, but I liked this post showing off its features. So far I like it, though it wouldn’t load for me today over a slow connection.

New-to-me #goals Instagram feed: The Home Edit. It’s so pleasing to see so much organization in one handy place.

Added to my to-read list and library holds: The Art of Gathering. Looks so beautiful! Also added this week: Educated, The Ensemble, The Year of Less and The Sun Does Shine.

This week on the podcast I interviewed my friend Kim Sedgwick about prioritizing her inner life and how her coaching practice has helped with her personal development. Such a fun one!

It was a big week! Between book club and writing a big report and introducing Raffi in concert and going for a fancy pasta dinner, my days have been full and nerve-wracking and exciting. I am happy to have a weekend ahead that’s wide-open and empty for all of the relaxing and reading I plan to do. I hope you have a wonderful weekend too! xo.

006: Kim Sedgwick on Prioritizing Inner Work >> Life In Limbo

Kim and I worked together for almost 5 years and I’ve been so happy connecting with her even more deeply as friends ever since. It was so much fun to chat with her about her personal development journey, deep lessons she’s learned in the process of becoming a certified life coach, and new tools she has in her toolbox that help her thrive with more confidence than ever.
