Inspiration March 30 >> Life In Limbo

I feel like I’ve been going on and on about Airtable all week: it’s an app I’ve shared here before, but I finally found a great use for it in planning my podcast season! It would also be amazing for basically anything you ever wanted to organize omg. So many great ideas and templates to use.

It’s been super fun to follow along with Caroline and Jason Zook’s new business adventure! They’re taking you through every single step of the process of building a new business in real time, and it’s fascinating. I’m always inspired by everything they do, and their philosophies. Really fun to see a breakdown of the tools they use too!

I’ve really been enjoying the new-to-me podcast, Simplify, from the people behind Blinkist. So many great guests, excellent interviews, and every episode ends with book recommendations! What’s not to love?

Also: how did I not know about this?! Seth Godin has a new podcast! Omg! I haven’t had a chance to listen yet, but like everything he does, I already know it will be amazing.

My favourite post from Seth recently included this line: “Time to stop looking for shortcuts and time to start insisting on a long, viable path instead.” So. Good.

This story about male cheerleaders made me very happy.

Also making me happy are these new emoji proposals! Yay inclusivity!

Here’s an important note about toxic masculinity vs. healthy masculinity.

I’m quite late to the party but I spent some time on Derek Sivers’ site this week and now I really want to build a /now page! Coming soon.

I have a very massive work/life crush on Jocelyn K. Glei and this interview she did for Creative Mornings was really inspiring to read.

Another week flown by! It was a good one, but lots of desk time which is not as fun. I spent lots of time scoping my podcast’s first season and starting to edit an episode I recorded with my friend Laura – we used to do Guinea Pigging Green together! It feels fun to be making something brand new. I am really looking forward to the long weekend and having some long overdue family time – and doggie time! I hope you have a wonderful weekend too. xo.
