Oh boy, I love these photos. They just take me straight back to the moment/headspace/feelings I had when I was taking them. I am so thrilled, ecstatic, overjoyed that I made it a resolution to document my everyday life this year. It’s given me back more than I ever could have imagined.
The first 7 of these photos are a little boring, they are mostly of things in my house. I was bedridden for a few days, so I just photographed my mug of tea, my pizza, etc. Some of the others are more fun! I got out of the house, had some adventures. But I still love taking photos of my food. And I still need to work on bringing my camera with me everywhere.
Hope you’re having a lovely Friday! :) xo.
A lovely week, and my photos are food- and book-centric, as per usual. I am obsessed with the picture of the peaches and raspberries, as you can probably tell. The trouble is that I’ve been working a lot lately, so my camera doesn’t come out to play quite as much as I might like. But I’m remembering that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts – I made a test book of all my photos so far this year and was blown away by how awesome they look all together. I can’t explain how much I love this project.
I hope that your weekends are as magical as mine has been. I hope you’re meeting some special people, and doing a lot of giggling, and feeling safe and happy. xo.
Great week. It’s definitely hot, humid, and sometimes dreadfully rainy, but despite the weather I’ve still been having some wonderfully summery times. Discovering new Chipotle-esque restaurants (and going back twice so far – we don’t have Chipotle here!), slaughtering a pineapple, painting.. all in good fun! I’m off to have brunch somewhere no doubt lovely. I hope you are about to kick off your weekend in a splendid way. Make sure there is good food and drink! xo.
Whoops, I completely forgot to do my Project 365 update last Friday! What with all that crazy cake baking, it totally slipped my mind. No matter, twice the fun this week.
My photos, as usual, are pretty food-centric. It’s strange to say, but on days when I stay inside all day, the food I create can be the most interesting subject around. But it’s summer, so I try to go outside as much as possible!
I’m more than halfway through this project, and I have to say I’m totally thrilled with it. I’ve kept with it, sometimes even taking a photo late at night when I get home, and I’ve never missed a day. I love that I can look back on some of the photos and know exactly what was going on in my life that day, while others surprise me! I love that I’ve gotten to know my camera better. I love that I’m satisfied with how *some* of my photos look, for the first time ever.
Thanks for reading. Also, this is my 100th post this year! Yippee!!
