If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you know that I spontaneously decided to come home for my birthday/Easter! I’m thrilled that I did. Even though I have a big paper to write, and not long before exams, I won’t ever regret making a choice to spend time with my family. That’s an important lesson, and I’m glad I learned it, albeit at the last minute – I literally booked my train at 12:30 AM on Wednesday night, and left at 11:50 the next morning!
Today I had the pleasure of working on my essay with a lakefront view (thanks to the hospitality of my friend Isabelle!) and tonight I’ll get to have my first family dinner in a little while. I miss the quiet comfort of being surrounded by people sometimes, since I live alone.
